Altius Foundation is a non-profit organization set up in 2002. The Foundation promotes diverse initiatives on education, training, employment, social integration and cooperation for development. Altius is a key actor in terms of promoting and enabling youth participation in social life, focusing on needs of disadvantaged people. The Foundation is hosting a Europe Direct Information Centre (EDIC) supported by the EC. Main aim is to bring EU closer to the citizens giving information, advice and assistance on EU ́s policies and programmes.

Tavo Europa is more than just another NGO working on the development of society by making those choices. It is a platform that gathers youth and different kind of experts who work together. We are home for the knowledge-hungry professionals that deeply care about their job, about career development and about youth. This is a safe place where non-formal education methods meet different environments and miracles really begin to happen. Teachers, trainers, instructors, researchers, activists and youth leaders gather together to make the choice – bring a positive change, while giving floor to youth and helping them advance their major skills.

BIDA e.V. Kultur und Bildung is a small organisation, with members who have a broad experience in adult education and training. The purpose of the entity is to promote youth and elderly care, art, culture and education using interactive methods for socializing of various target groups and also promote the intercultural dialogue and development cooperation. Recently BIDA e.V. created interdisciplinary projects, showing new ways of communication, culture and education, and currently is facilitating different activities (events, seminars, discussions, workshops) aimed at social integration of marginalized groups and groups at risk of social exclusion – such as immigrants, women victims of violence, unemployed, low-skilled people and refugees. BIDA e.V. provides by itself or in local partnership with private and public bodies and organisations, actions and services which give people real occasions of social inclusion and life improvement. During the last years BIDA e.V. Kultur und Bildung executed local and international projects, related to intercultural education, promotion of tolerance, mediation of values such as solidarity, respect and social behaviour.

The EUROPEAN INFORMATION CENTRE began activities in Oct 1997, registered as NGO in 2000. EIC has been hosting the European Documentation Centre of EU since Jan 2001 and since Jan 2007 – EUROPE DIRECT for North-Central Bulgaria (districts of Veliko Tarnovo and Razgrad).  EIC main objectives are: popularize values of the EU within the country; assist authorities, institutions, organizations, citizens in the process of European integration; support development of the civil society and media; to educate and train, to assist and do research, provide consultations on the hot issues of the European integration; teach topics on basic European values using new methods and methodologies. Main initiatives are “Europe is more than you think”; “Teaching Europe”,“Mobile Europe”, “Young,United,We Stand”, over 120 projects has been implemented for the last three decades.

TERA – Maison de l’Europe de la Charente is an association created in 2004. It is an intermediary between the European Union and the people of Charente to enable them to  understand European issues and promote active European citizenship in our territory.

    Raise awareness in Charente about European issues by offering personalized activities for publics 

    Initiate, coordinate and participate in international projects for the exchange of practices and training 

    Support any organization in setting up international projects.

Mine Vaganti NGO (MVNGO) promotes:Intercultural Dialogue; Social and Green Entrepreneurship; Sport as a tool of Education; Inclusion of Migrants and People with disability.

“NGO AENAO (Center of non-formal education) was established in the framework of promoting health, in its broad definition, and to strengthen the dialogue between science and culture. Main aim of the organization is to design programs that promote health, encourage social cohesion, protect the human rights and respect the environment. In addition, through the projects (at European and National level), AENAO focuses on the empowerment of women to take initiatives and improve their socio-economic status; empowerment of young people to enhance and build their personal skills.

The Cultural Foundation 1948 (CF1948) was established in September 2020 as a non-for-profit NGO with the aim to foster social change that can bring about a positive transformation to local, national and regional contexts. As a newly founded organization, it envisages to establish itself in society as a leading institution in stimulating processes of learning, research and preservation of historical and cultural heritage as well as engaging citizens and particularly the youth in democratic and participatory forms of action. CF1948 endorses a wide application of the term culture that encompasses social actions at various levels and of various forms: educational, training, social, athletics, research, scientific, political, historical, cultural, etc.
